Import data for customer pre-pricing

You must have the Label/Tag Printing Add-on Module and the Customer Pre-Pricing Add-on Module to use this article.

To Export

  1. Navigate to sales section icon Sales, then customer pre-pricing icon Customer Pre-Pricing.
  2. In the left pane, double-click on the correct Pre-Pricing Group or create a new one.
  3. Click export icon Export in the taskbar.
  4. Select the Pricing Group for the customer so that your item prices will display correctly.
  5. Toggle to include only items with missing information. This is used primarily when a customer has already sent some information but needs to complete or update information based on new inventory you offer.
  6. Select an Export Type to determine which items will be included on your exported list.
  7. Click Export Data to Excel.
  8. Send the excel sheet to your customer and ask them to complete the customer information they are supplying.

To Import

  1. Navigate to sales section icon Sales, then customer pre-pricing icon Customer Pre-Pricing.
  2. In the left pane, double-click on the correct Pre-Pricing Group.
  3. Click copy paste import icon Import in the task bar.
  4. On the customer-completed Excel sheet, select the rows and columns that match the headings listed in the pop-up window. *Do not include the header row, only the data*. Right-click and select Copy.
  5. Back in eGrow Connect, right-click in the pop-up window space labeled “Paste as plain text here…”. Select Paste as plain text (Paste and Match Style on a Mac). The resulting data will look a bit messy, that is normal.
  6. Click copy paste import icon Import Data.
  7. Click on the Items tab and review to be sure item information was imported correctly.
